DirectRooms.com divulges that Ness Islands will be magically transformed this Halloween into a scary park of creepy activity as local artists put on a series of outdoor performances.
Halloween on Ness Islands is going to see young artists performing gruesome plays and ghoulish dance routines as they entertain the huge crowds that gather for the event. Previous years have seen the park area transformed into various devilish scenes including a ‘Malice in Wonderland’ theme in 2010 and 2009 saw the dreaded pirates of Captain Blackbeard returning from the dead. Arts in Motion will be applying the creative touches to ensure Ness Islands look haunted again and then it will be up to Eden Court Theatre to provide the entertainment.
The show for 2011 promises some new surprises with the costume theme being reported just before the run up to the event which will be occurring from 29th to 30th October. There will be two shows on each night, one at 18:30 and then at 20:30 and in addition to the Michael Jackson inspired ‘Thriller’ dancing scenes, audiences can tuck into ghoulish potions and lots of food. There’ll also be games and activities for people to take part in and although designed to make visitors jump both nights will be suitable for children.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “On each night more than 100 people will be turning up in the hope of seeing the odd ghost. Visitors staying overnight should check online for hotels in Inverness City Centre as the increased number of people coming for Halloween could affect the chance of getting a reservation.”
