DirectRooms.com announces that a special antiques fair is set to take place in Chester where dealers will be offering a wide selection of antiques from the UK as well as rarer imported pieces.

On 6th November 2011, the Antique, Collectors and Vintage Fair will feature unique items in all three categories to offer buyers a mixed variety of prized antiques. Specialists in antique furniture including wardrobes, display cases, chests of drawers, chairs and dining tables will all be exhibiting their wares at the show.

Attendees can speak with dealers about the history of each piece and they’ll be on hand to go into detail about the styling used in pieces and how specific workmanship defined certain eras. Paintings, sculptures and artwork will make up other major sections of the fair, especially work in bronze and selected prints. The fair is also being run by an experienced team of organizers to ensure that the antiques dealers are reputable and the items on sale are genuine.

For visitors staying at a hotel Chester City Centre the event is only a short drive away at the nine acre estate of the Northop Hall Country House Hotel. Fittingly the antiques are to be displayed by the grand Victorian mansion and refreshments will also be served within the grounds. For trade members the doors open from 09:00 or 10:00 for the general public.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “Hotels in the area are set to become substantially busier as people come to search for antiques.”
