The 2nd Mediterranean Multidisciplinary Oncology Forum Congress – MMOF 2011, is due to take place in Istanbul from the 17th to the 20th November 2011.
This event is targeted at medical professionals and there will be lectures and workshops on the latest research and developments in the field of oncology.
The congress is to be held at the Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel, which is rapidly developing an excellent reputation as a conference venue, which features a great range of facilities. The hotel is centrally located and has plenty of parking facilities or can be reached by public transport.
There are many hotels in Istanbul city centre, however they are likely to become booked up very quickly during the time of the conference. As a result, Lek Boonlert, Head of Marketing for DirectRooms.com has suggested that anyone intending to stay in the city during this time should book their accommodation well in advance. In an already very busy city, the added influx of people such as those arriving for the oncology conference will see accommodation become scare. Pre-booing is the best way to avoid any disappointment on arrival.
Public transport is available for those who wish to stay a little further away from the venue or for those who are also in the city for a little sightseeing. Getting around will be no problem to any visitor to Istanbul.
