A month-long festival of science will attract visitors in their droves to Jerusalem this coming January, prompting online hotel room bookings website DirectRooms.com to advise early reservations for anyone heading to the city in the New Year.
'Electricity' at the Bloomfield Science Museum is an educational exhibition designed to teach kids of all ages about the fundamentals of electricity in an interesting and exciting way. The exhibition includes many interactive elements which children can use to learn in a proactive way.
Workshops are offered in both Hebrew and English languages to allow both local native Israelis and visiting tourists to enjoy the shows. The Bloomfield Science Museum opens from 10am to 6pm from Monday to Thursday and is also open from 10am to 2pm on Fridays and from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. Family tickets are available for larger groups who wish to attend. The exhibition will run throughout the whole of January 2012.
The Bloomfield Science Museum is located in downtown Jerusalem within the grounds of the Hebrew University, meaning that the choice of hotel Jerusalem city centre has available could be reduced due to higher demand. As such DirectRooms.com recommends advance reservations.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head of DirectRooms.com, commented, “Anyone who is planning
on being in Jerusalem throughout January and needing to keep the kids entertained
can enjoy all the fun of Electricity at the Bloomfield Science Museum. If hoping to
stay in a hotel close to the museum however advance booking is the smart move."
