Staatskapelle Berlin and Daniel Barenboim Come to Royal Festival Hall

Bruckner's final three symphonies to be performed by world class pairing.

Conductor Daniel Barenboim will once again team up with the Staatskapelle Berlin, following their widely-acclaimed Beethoven/Schoenberg project in 2010.

This April, the Southbank Centre plays host to the team's rendering of Bruckner's 7 th , 8 th and 9 th symphonies. The run opens on the 16 th with Mozart's Piano Concerto No.24 in C minor, followed by Bruckner's Symphony No. 7, one of the composer's most noted pieces. The remaining two Bruckner symphonies will be performed over the following three evenings, along with Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22.
