-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- LondonTown.com is excited to preview the imminent Frieze Art Fair 2012, to be held in London's Regent's Park from October 11th -14th 2012. The event has recently announced its participants for the Frieze Film competition: Bertrand Dezoteux, Patricia Esquivias, Jimmy Merris, John Smith and Wu Tsang & Nana Oforiatta-Ayim.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, with events spreading over and beyond the park to nearby Primrose Hill, where parties and ongoing, off-Frieze events liven up the evenings and afternoons.

Largely recognized as the world's premier contemporary art fair, Frieze draws together work from over 170 of the world's most interesting art galleries, spanning New York, Tokyo, London and Berlin.

The park Frieze structure – especially designed by architects Carmody Groarke – is open from the Thursday until the Sunday, from 12pm. Groups and concessions may enter from 1pm. Frieze tickets start at £20 for the day for concessions and groups; a four-day pass can be purchased for £70.

One of the major advantages of this unique events is its location – in close proximity to the centre of London and all of its attractions, shops, libraries and museums and other galleries.

LondonTown.com recommends using its services to find great restaurants, bars and early deals on central London hotels which will give you plenty of time and ease to walk or get the tube to Regent's Park for the Frieze Art Fair.

Holiday Inn London Regent's Park is available with 74% off the normal asking price, with double rooms for £96 a night during the Frieze period. Further west near Baker Street, art fans will find the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel London, which has up to 67% off, with rooms from £119 per night.

Customers are advised to book in advance for the fair, which is now just over a month away, and whose central location makes easy and convenient accommodation both a priority and a struggle.
