A Broom has just released her new children’s series Trumpeter Swan Adventures and
Shih-Tzu Puppy Adventures. Each series contains six stories designed to enthrall
children of all ages. The easy listening narration of Lynn Deprez enhances the
colorful 12-page booklet attached to each CD with two stories on each.
Press Release Body = Iowa began the introduction of Trumpeter Swans into the
landscape a few years ago. The Trumpeter Swan Adventures take the newly hatched
cygnets through growth to migration while they fight off natural predators. These
books are designed to help parents and educators teach about the swan’s environment
as well as how these birds live and grow. Excitingly entertaining, the cygnets scare
off Wonker the Mink and Breezy the Coyote. Father trumpets off a Canada Goose and
one cygnet almost gets carried away by an eagle.
The Shih-Tzu Puppy Adventure series will delight every dog lover. They are born in a
sunny kitchen but lose their mother five days later. The stories tell how they
survive, grow and then find new homes. The Shih-Tzus learn to drink from a bottle,
discover their ever-widening world, and find new homes.
Barbara Ann makes her home in Alta, Iowa. Besides a murder mystery Mind Trap (chosen
by Iowa’s Professional and Business Women as their selection for 2005) and her
household management guide, Dance With a Broom, she has completed a war story
collection, Second to None, and is polishing the first of a murder trilogy. She is
represented by Hartline Literary Agency from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
