On Becoming A Playboy Centerfold

"I was living with my photographer and his makeup artist boyfriend in a huge loft space and whenever we got bored, they would do playful shoots with me. One day, the makeup artist made me up, put a black bikini on me, slicked me with baby oil and splashed water on me. The photos came out so amazing and the photographer said that they should send the photos to Playboy. I thought he was joking and told him to go ahead. Needless to say, Playboy took it seriously."

On Learning How To Walk The Runway

"I did runway since I was 16, but I never really learned to walk the runway until the first show was introduced at Seventh On Sixth featuring Playboy Bunnies...I can see it as clear as I saw it then...A man walked out who appeared as if he was 7-feet tall with a bald head, a couture dress on, and a prance that put the most beautiful
women in the world to shame. He inspired me to walk the runway with pure grace and raw sexiness. I'll never forget Kevin Aviance."

On Living In Her Favorite Place In New York City

"I lived on the Upper East Side most of my life, but I recently decided to buy a place in Chelsea. The day I moved into my place on 77th Street, an older lady across from my apartment welcomed me into the neighborhood and warned me about my next door neighbor. 'What's wrong with him?' I asked, thinking that he was a pervert. She
answered with such alarm 'He's gay! One day he dresses up as a women and the other day he dresses up as a man.' My gay neighbor ended up being my best friend, stylist and personal confidante of over 13 years."

On Coming Out And Being A Part Of The Gay Community

"I've been gay since I was 13 and suppressed it until a few years ago. Well, not completely, because I dated men and women. It wasn't until the lady who raised me died that I realized how short life is...I came out to her before she passed away and she came out to me...'Live your life the way I would have wanted to' was what
she said to me just days before she died. It took the death of someone I loved in order for me to learn how to live. My life is totally complete now. The only problem is that I am a playboy trapped in a woman''s body, so I tend to either be single or be in trouble with my girlfriends. Oh well, you can't have it all...even though I'd
like to..."
