This is the culmination of many months of research and field trials, where the product has been put through its paces in a ‘real-world’ environment.” Prototypes of
the Leatt-Brace™ have been manufactured and tested. Testing
took place at the Eurotype Test Center located at the South African
Bureau of Standards (SABS, http://www.dti.gov.za/thedti/sabs.htm)
and the brace has been developed in consultation with Motorsport
South Africa (MSA, http://www.motorsport.co.za), the governing body
of South African motor sport, and National Champion competitors.
Production of the retail version of the Leatt-Brace™ will
