Each year, thousands of dogs are injured or strangled by their collars. In a recent
survey, 96% of veterinarians reported having seen or heard of a collar-related
injury or death within the last year.* The exclusive KeepSafe Break-Away Green
Collar features a patented safety buckle designed to protect dogs and cats from
collar accidents.“Saving Tails is proud to offer pet owners safe and environmentally sound collars
that will benefit thousands of animals that are abused, neglected, and homeless,”
said Johonna Godofsky, President of Saving Tails. “It is our hope that this
community-driven campaign will allow Furry Friends Rescue to grow their organization
and will provide Saving Tails with the proper resources to initiate nationwide
campaigns and education programs.”
“Each year, approximately 8 million dogs and cats are euthanized because they don’t
have a home,” said Emily Verna, President of Furry Friends Rescue. “The money raised
through the Green Collar campaign will provide us with more resources,
infrastructure, and support for the thousands of abandoned dogs and cats that do not
have homes.”
