Press Release Summary = Sanur, Bali December 14, 2005 -- For an entire month Hotel
Sanur Beach (in co-operation with Bali Orchid Garden) will hold a rather unusual
coffee promotion scheduled to commence on 15th December 2005.

Press Release Body = Kopi Luwak, as it is locally known, is the world's rarest and
of course most expensive coffee. What makes this particular blend so special is the
unique process that the actual bean goes through before they make their way to the
coffee lover's cup.

In the coffee plantations of Sumatra, Sulawesi and Bali exists an indigenous tree
dwelling marsupial called the Common Palm Civet or Luwak. This canny creature roams
the plantations and feasts on the ripest, reddest coffee cherries. However, the
Luwak is unable to digest the coffee beans and they are deposited on the floor of
the jungle mixed with other excretion. Local plantation workers eagerly sift
thorough this waste matter to gather the beans which have gone through the most
amazing fermentation process aided by the stomach acids of the Luwak. And this is
how this rare coffee reaches the global market for caffeine connoisseurs.

Experts describe Kopi Luwak as a heavy bodied coffee with a unique aroma and unusual
flavour that has a slight caramel/chocolate taste. During this exclusive promotion
at Hotel Sanur Beach, guests will have the opportunity to sample and learn more
about the world's most exotic coffee. A stand will be located on the property
adjacent to the Bamboo Beach Bar serving Kopi Luwak from midday until 6.00pm daily.

General Manager of Hotel Sanur Beach, Mr. Christoph Voegeli comments; "Kopi Luwak is
a coffee delicacy that is authentic only to Indonesia. Through this promotion we
hope to educate guests about this truly unique blend. And who knows, they'll
probably even develop a liking for this unique coffee."
