A New Book by John Nash
Book Description: Set in the near future, a world of never ending conflict, racial divide and corporate domination, brilliant physicist Dr Alex Moor is head of Scientific Research and Development in Europe for one of the world's largest corporations - Osborn. The corporation, headed by a 70 year old Lithuanian Jew Terrence Goldberg, controls everything. It owns politicians, it owns countries. Dr Moor is a loner, a bachelor, a pacifist and a genius. He has developed technology that could change the world. The most incredible tool of learning that mankind has ever known.
Moor's project is a machine that can look into the past and the future and more. When its potential is realised his work and his life become a struggle between the humanitarian and academic against the political and militaristic. The project is enveloped in intrigue and secret agendas. Can the scientific community prevent the technology falling into the hands of the military and the politicians?
The answer is starkly revealed when a mysterious visitor from the future warns them too late of the calamity they are about to cause. The world of the 21st century is changed instantly into a lifeless and barren wilderness, a world that has been frozen and dead for 70 years. What had happened in the future to cause a catastrophe 70 years previously? Alex Moor and his associates are faced with a frantic race to discover the truth and our scientist is faced with a life and death journey beyond his imagination.
