National Coatings Receives Miami Dade Approval for AcryShield A500 Acrylic Roof
Coating

National Coatings received the approval for AcryShield A500 acrylic elastomeric roof
coating as a maintenance roof coating designed to comply with the Florida Building
Code including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.

Miami Dade Building Code Compliance Product Control Division provides for one of the
most stringent requirements for roofing products in the country in order to be
approved for use by the building owners of this area. This severe weather area
requires that products that are submitted for approval pass a battery of very high
performance tests. The process of submission and approval could take a year or
more.
