The ignorance of how to use the Internet stockpiles exponentially

The internet has caused an explosion of information. The effects of this explosion
are little understood. The Center For Internet Research has been formed to study how
the internet has changed the way we live, work, play and do business.

Denver, Colorado - 1/5/2006 - Dr. W. Reid Cornwell, former CEO and founder of
Intratech the secretive high tech executive search firm, announced the creation of
THE CENTER FOR INTERNET RESEARCH. http://tcfir.org

Quoting late Marshall Mcluhan, media critic and author of \"The Media Is the
Message\", Dr. Cornwell says, \"the ignorance of how to use new ideas stockpiles
exponentially.\"

The Center For Internet Research is a collaboration of business industry and
government. Scholars from University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and the
University of Wyoming will attempt to map what effects this has had on the way we
live, work, play and do business. Their research will be published online and made
available to everyone.

Dr. Cornwell reports, \"TCFIR will join an elite and elite cadre of similar
institutes in this area of research and is the only one that is a collaboration of
more than one University. This follows the announcement of a similar program at
Oxford University.

Early supporters for the center include Dr. Vinton Cerf, Ester Dyson, Andrew Hyder,
Larry Elison and many more.
A list can be found at the center Website

To kick off this research, the center is hosting a conference called \"The IT Summit\"
to be held in Denver on March 22, 2006. Details of this event are available at
http://theitsummit.com. Educators, high level government officials and \"C\" level
corporate executives will discuss crucial issues relevent to information technology.
These discussions will be recorded and will form the basis for future research. This
event is sponsored by Microsoft, ESRI, Dell Computers and more.

The Keynote speaker for this event is Jim Geringer, former Governor of Wyoming,
former chaiman of the Western Governors Conference and public policy spokesman for
ESRI.

It is an invitation only event, limited to 1500 participants. It is free to invitees
