Press Release Summary = Easily assign assets to your employees and track them a variety of ways
Press Release Body = Castle Computer Technologies has released Key Control, a powerful Windows program that makes it easy to keep track of company laptops, credit cards, keys, and all assets that are temporarily assigned to employees. At a glance, you can tell which employees have signed out which equipment. It\'s easy to create a master inventory of your organization\'s loanable items, from computers and dictating machines to credit cards and cell phones. Similarly, you can create a list of all of your employees. Assigning items to individuals is as simple as dragging the item name, and dropping it onto the name of the individual who it is currently assigned to. You can track employees by name, badge number, department, and active/inactive status, and see immediately which assets have been assigned to them. You can maintain a database of an unlimited number of assets, including descriptions and serial numbers. Key Control keeps track of who has possession of each asset, when it was assigned to them, and when it was returned. Key Control includes a comprehensive set of reports. It\'s easy to select the information that you need, sort it meaningfully, include or exclude categories of people or assets, and print only the information that you need. All reports can be saved in text, Adobe Acrobat (.PDF), and web page (.HTML) formats.
You can also export data so that you can read it into your favorite spreadsheet or database. Similarly, it\'s easy to import employee and asset information from your personnel and inventory systems.
Whether you\'re a business owner who needs to keep track of valuable company equipment that employees take on business trips, a corporate information officer who needs to track the whereabouts of folders and dossiers, a teacher or coach who needs to track students\' use of school equipment, or a department manager who needs to reduce the significant expense of lost and stolen property by managing it more effectively, Key Control has the tools that you need.
Key Control runs under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003, costs $149(US) for a single-user license, and may be purchased securely online from http://www.castlecomputer.com. Until April 15, 2006, a license costs only $99. Multi-user and site licenses are available. You can download a free trial version from the same web site.
