Press Release Summary = LanAgent: full monitoring of a remote computer, all user\'s actions are recorded
Press Release Body = LanAgent will help you to manage your employees\' working time. This agent will secretly post you up on any activities your employees do on their computers.
NetworkProfi today announces the release of LanAgent. This new software tool is able to track all files or programs opened at a certain computer during work time. In addition to this, LanAgent is able to gather information about activities of a particular user by making screenshots, recording all keystrokes and clipboard content of his/her computer. The opportunities of LanAgent go well beyond this: the program is also able to track all Internet or local network connections and all websites visited. The presence of LanAgent in the PC memory is wholly latent, i.e. your employees will not be aware that you are watching their actions attentively.
LanAgent consists of two parts: the client part (agent) and the administrator part. Once you have installed the client part on an employee\'s computer, your employee gets into the focus of your attention. Having done this, you just need to install the administrator part and this monitor-employee system is ready to operate. All data about the usage of a computer by a certain user is stored in the encrypted log files on his/her computer and can be send to the administrator\'s machine immediately on the first request.
The work of the client part and the administrator part are structurally independent, so when you switch your computer off, the client part still keeps on monitoring and recording all events. You will receive this information as soon as you switch your computer on next time. Generally speaking, a significant part of the program is data exchange. Data exchange is carried out via the TCP/IP protocol, thus the only information you need to know is your user\'s IP address.
LanAgent creates an exhaustive report within seconds. All you need is just to choose a user from your list and mark those logs, which you are interested in: Keystrokes, Applications, Clipboard, Screenshots, Files and directories, Computer, Internet connections or Websites visited. Mark some or all of these logs, set a time period you need to know about and you will get a detailed report on his/her actions during working hours.
LanAgent Features at a Glance: - Records startup/shutdown, websites visited, the local net connections established; - Logs all keystrokes (case sensitive) and clipboard contents; - Makes screenshots within the specified time interval; - Generates the report in the html format; - Sends text messages to users\' computers. - Absolutely invisible to users.
Pricing and Availability LanAgent runs under Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. A 3-user license costs $75 (USD), a 10-user license costs $175 (USD), a 25-user license costs $375 (USD), a 50-user license costs $575 (USD), a 100-user license costs $875 (USD). Apart from the price information, we want to inform you that LanAgent is a shareware program. You can test and evaluate this software as long as you like. The limitation of the unregistered version is that logs are not saved, i.e. the log database will be cleared when you close the program. Besides, you cannot monitor more than three computers.
