Cindy Rayfield, founder of Rayfield Creative, has been working with churches and ministries in the areas of stewardship and communication for the past five years. \"I\'m so excited to start this monthly series. I\'ve been planning it for a while now. While working with all types of churches and ministries, I\'ve found that they want to talk about and exchange ideas on stewardship. There is so much good information out there so I\'ve created a place where we can share what we learn.\"
The free, one hour teleseminars are planned as a forum for discussing our views on stewardship: what it is, what it should be, how to engage our congregations and memberships to grow solid, active communities. Participants should plan to be active on the call, not just sit and listen. Each session will also have a guest speaker who will share thoughts and reflections on stewardship.
The guest speaker for the April 12th call will be Dr. Chuck Raup, a Christian speaker, counselor and author, from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Dr. Raup holds a Doctorate of Counseling from Biola University in La Mirada, California and a Master\'s Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. His experience in the church environment includes two senior pastorates, two interim pastorates and an associate pastoral position in a church ministering to 2,500 people. Other experience includes eight years of graduate level teaching at the University of Houston and 10 years as a private practice Christian counselor in California and Colorado. Chuck and his wife, Jan, have formed the Colorado based nonprofit organization, Living Image ministries, which assists all types of churches with training, consulting and counseling.
