Press Release Summary = The PGA Merchandise Show Australasia was recently held at
the Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour concluding on July 23, 2006 . The
first two days of the show were designated trade days and the public was welcomed to
view all the latest and best in golf over the final two days. In an independent
survey conducted over the four days of the show the Perfectstroke Putting Aid was
voted best golf training aid.

Press Release Body = Managing Director of Perfectstroke Mark Officer, was delighted
when informed of the results of the poll. "The Perfectstroke Putting Aid is being
recognized in the industry as the best teaching and training aid available for
putting and I am very excited it has been recognized here as well" Officer stated.
"To also have the Channel Mirror rated as the third best aid was also an excellent
result". The Channel Mirror is another product from Perfectstroke that helps with
alignment of the putterhead at address, correct eye positioning and requires a
correct stroke to get the ball to leave the channel part of the mirror successfully.
The Channel Mirror rated third behind the Swing Setter training aid which has been
developed by David Leadbetter. Distributor of the Swing Setter and other golf
products Martin Stocks from Talisman Golf Australia stated that he ran out of stock
of this product at the show. "Professionals and the general public alike see this as
the best self help training aid in the world and we had great interest in people
wanting to try it and buy it. When you have someone like David Leadbetter put his
name to something you know it has to be a quality product but he is also responsible
for designing it. It has been a big seller in the United States so we see it
becoming very popular here as well."
The Perfectstroke Putting Aid rated highly with the PGA members attending the show
because it works via a plane mechanism and alignment features which allow the
putting stroke to work slightly inside/inside. This type of putting stroke where the
head of the putter arcs a little on the backswing and through swing is now more
favoured by the top players and coaches rather than trying for a straight back and
straight through type of stroke. The Perfectstroke Putting Aid is being used by
players and instructors all around the world including on all of the major tours and
golf academies.
Rated fourth among the best training aids was a new product called the Birdie007
Laser golf putter. This features two lasers which are inbuilt in the face of the
putter which help perfect alignment and stroke path.
