The competition will be open to any international student that has a student visa for Australia during the competition. It is also planned there will be competitions held on a monthly basis throughout 2007. Entry to the monthly events will be on the same criteria as the event in November and it s expected that students from all over Australia will take part.
Principal of ITAGC College Vic Shi is very excited about this new event. " We are very much looking forward to welcoming students from Australia and our near neighbors to this event and to show participants the great facilities we have here. Lakelands Golf Club has some of the best practice facilities available as well as the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, which rates one of Australia's best. Participants in November will get to see what our students enjoy here everyday ".

Athletic performance will be safely enhanced through participation in our professionally guided strength and conditioning program. Their physical fitness program is designed to allow participants to understand the basics to becoming a dynamic athlete. ITAGC College offers The Diploma of Sport, which has golf, sport management, and coaching and a number of other different subjects for international students.
ITAGC College was founded in 2000 and provides quality sports training Education Programs and experiences for students from an international community. Through their programs they help students to develop and maximize their potential in various careers. The college accepts up to 240 students per academic year from around the world. ITAGC College has highly experienced coaches who have held professional positions throughout Australia and who have trained top-level athletes. ITAGC golf programs provide a number of different options for international and domestic students wishing to further their careers in golf including 6 months to 3 years diploma courses, and short courses from 1 week to 3 months. There is also a program for preparation for professional tournament play currently being developed by ITAGC College.
ITAGC College has an association with golf training aid manufacturer and distributor Perfectstroke who will be providing some of the prizes for the competition days as well as demonstrations of Perfectstroke products. Perfectstroke golf training aid products include the Perfectstroke Putting Aid, Perfectstroke Putting Mirror, Channel Mirror, and Heavyiron and these are used by golf professionals and academies all around the world.
