Dracula also known as Vlad the Impaler was the son of Vlad Dracul, one of the most important landlords of Walachia. For the first two monetary emissions, Vlad the father used his emblem, the dragon, therefore, the Romanians whose word stock is mainly Latin, nicknamed him Dracul (from Latin Draco - onis). DAY 2 Sunday - 29.10.2006 In Sinaia we visit the Peles Castle, the ex-residence of Romania's kings. Then, visit of Bran Castle, also known as Dracula Castle, a 14-century castle built high on a rock to protect the Pass between Walachia and Transylvania. You will find out if the count Dracula really lived there. Lunch in a very scenic area, near-by. Arrival in Brasov, one of the most important medieval Saxon cities. The day starts with a visit of Brasov: The First Romanian School, St. Nicholas Cathedral, The Black Church, the most important gothic monument in this part of Europe, The Town Square. Lunch will also include a wine tasting. The rest of the day will be free; you can enjoy Brasov, the fresh air of the resort or the hotel's spa facilities. In the evening dinner at the hotel and a first meeting with Dracula.you will see \"Dracula\'s wedding\". Do you want to be the bride?
DAY 4 Tuesday - 31.10.2006 Until lunch you will have the possibility become test you skills and become a caviler (target shooting, riding, fire test and others) It will be contests and trials that could make you Knight of Transylvania in the end... Lunch will be at a local fancy restaurant. Then you have some free time to prepare yourselves for the evening, special Halloween dinner.
DAY 5 Wednesday - 01.11.2006 Departure to Bucharest. Sightseeing the Romanian capital (the Palace of Parliament, the second largest building in the world, after the Pentagon, belonging to the Communist dictator Ceausescu - also called The Modern Dracula, for his cruel and abusive domination; and an walking tour in the old part of Bucharest: old court). This last evening you will have a special farewell dinner in a very fancy restaurant with music and dance show, in the spirit of the period of the 30's in Bucharest, when our capital was called "The Little Paris"..
DAY 6 Thursday - 02.11.2006 Departure back home.
