\"We\'ve been adding new comic strips to our site fairly regularly,\" says ArcaMax CEO Scott Wolf, \"based on what people want to see. We\'ve had several requests for both \'The Boondocks\' and \'Dog Eat Doug,\' and now our readers can get them free every day.\"
\"Dog Eat Doug,\" Brian Anderson\'s daily comic strip about a baby and his puppy, is already popular among parents and pet lovers. The characters are inspired by Anderson's own young son Doug and Labrador retriever Sophie. Since debuting online in 2005, \"Dog Eat Doug\" has enjoyed a steadily-growing fanbase, and is now syndicated in newspapers across the country.
On the other end of the spectrum, the controversial daily comic strip \"The Boondocks\" also has many readers, consisting of fans who embrace the comic\'s sociopolitical message, and curious readers who disagree with it or aren\'t sure what to make of it. Debuting in a college newspaper in 1997, \"The Boondocks\" quickly became a favorite in hip-hop magazines, and then in national newspapers. The strip has produced several print collections, as well as an animated series.
Wolf adds that by adding both of these comic strips, ArcaMax is \"attempting to reach a variety of people. We run comics such as \'B.C.\' and \'Family Circus,\' but we also have readers who enjoy \'Doonesbury.\' There are so many different styles of comic strips and cartoons out there, and we want to offer something that everyone will enjoy.\"
The ArcaMax Funnies page also includes free jokes updated daily.
