In the recent times it has been noticed that people all across north-east are complaining against Nokia Handsets and the after sales services provided Nokia. A company like nokia was so negligent towards services that some people under the banner of gandhigiri.org launched this website in order to unite all dissatisfied customer against Nokia. The Dibrugarh Electronic Equipment Dealers Association which is the behind this website says that they have got support of over more than 100 dealers .

Already the website had got some strength. Even some nokia officials don't seem to be happy and have raised their voice against such ongoing . But the people behind the site are still sticked to their demands :
Customer & Dealer Demands
1. DOA (Defective on Arrival) handsets has to be replaced immediately at the Distributor point.
2. Dealers should be provided with an Authorised Dealer Certificate
3. All handsets given for repair to the service centre should be returned with 15 days else a new swap handset should be provided
4. All handsets that are given as repeat complain should be delivered with 7 days else a new swap handset should be provided
5. All handsets that are given for the third time as complain should be immediately replaced with a new one.
6. Any handset that has complains within 15 days from date of sale to customers should be immediately replaced with a new one.
7. Water Damaged or Tampered should be informed to the dealer/customer within 24 hours, thereafter no sets will be acceptable as warranty void due to water damage or as Tampered.
All these should be given in writing, not by the Distributor, but by Nokia India Pvt Ltd. and it should also include the Price Protection policy
