Press Release Body = San Diego Golf Academy is a golf school with heart, as
evidenced by the efforts of SDGA-Myrtle Beach\'s staff and students to help put on
South Carolina\'s Special Olympics Golf Tournament every August.

"I have organized, planned, and served as a Rules Official in many Special Olympics
golf events, such as the Special Olympics National Invitation Golf Tournament and
the Special Olympics/PGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament," said Eric Wilson, Director of
SDGA-Myrtle Beach and Chairman of the Special Olympics International Golf Committee.
"I am proud to be able to use my position and expertise to help Special Olympics
South Carolina."

Special Olympics South Carolina is dedicated to providing athletic opportunities for
individuals with mental retardation. Children and adults alike participate in
sports training and competition through the organization. One of these competitions
is the annual Special Olympics/PGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament, first conceived by Eric
Wilson, Director of SDGA-Myrtle Beach. Wilson has a distinguished history of
involvement with the Special Olympics: he has been Chairman of the Special Olympics
International Golf Committee for the past seven years, planned and participated as a
Rules Official in the Special Olympics National Invitation Golf Tournament, and came
up with the idea for the Special Olympics/PGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

SDGA golf schools provide students with the education and resources necessary for
successful golf careers. With five golf schools and more than 30 years of
experience in golf education, San Diego Golf Academy has a long-standing reputation
for helping students find the golf jobs of their dreams. An important resource
offered to SDGA students is GolFutures, the SDGA-owned golf employment company that
successfully places more than 85% of the school\'s graduates in golf jobs. Thanks to
SDGA-Myrtle Beach\'s relationship with Special Olympics South Carolina, enrollment in
this golf school also means the chance for invaluable life experiences!
