Press Release Body = March 20, 2007 - Ft. Lauderdale, FL - From vixens to villains,
heroes to heroines, creatures to cool things, members of The Art Institute of Fort
Lauderdale Comic Book Club reveal their illustrations and imaginative skills in the
college's Mark K. Wheeler Gallery, April 3-25, free admission.

Sequential Motion is the brainchild of Fort Lauderdale Animation student Nakia Mann.
"I hope everyone who comes to the gallery not only sees the art, but appreciates the
individuals and their drive behind it. Comics are a valuable asset and outlet for
artists and I hope the world realizes that concept."

The Comic Book Club is comprised of Animation, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, and
Game Art & Design students all looking for an outlet for their creativity and to be
with other students exactly like them with the same interests.

I started the club because we can unify ourselves to be successful in our artistic
careers," continues Mann. "I\'m extremely thankful for the gallery showing and all
the people who support the club. We will work our hardest to make the best of the
club and its members to one day make it our business within the industry to make
comics."

Comic Book Club member Jason Brown, of Ft. Lauderdale, says "The club has helped me
work in a team-based environment with a goal to produce quality work. It supports me
and my ideas to be one who stands for creative freedom and being an example of it. I
hope that as artists we can discover ourselves and continue to grow." Other members
showing their art in the show are New Yorkers Chris Olavarria and Siva \"Jack\"
Sernvongsat, from Puerto Rico Karla Ortiz and Korinne Diaz, from Hollywood Mikes
Henry, from West Palm Beach Anthony Gregori, and from Uruguay, Montevideo Ariel Cal.

The Mark K. Wheeler Gallery is located on the first floor of The Art Institute of
Fort Lauderdale at 1799 SE 17 Street, 1.800.275-7603. Hours are: Monday-Friday,
8am-10pm; Saturday, 9am-5pm, closed Sundays and holidays.
