Validation Testing Proves Powerful Features and Functions of Dialogic ® PCI Express Versions of DMVB Boards Identical to PCI Predecessors
Parsippany, N.J. March 27, 2007- Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for media and signal processing, announced today that the PCI Express versions of its powerful Dialogic ® DMVB combined media board product line have been certified and deployed in Intervoice's Media Exchange Platform, a solution central to Intervoice's product strategy.
"Our testing proved that the PCI Express versions of the DMVB boards are identical in feature and function to their PCI universal predecessors," said Andy Thomas, Vice President for Product Development who was in charge of the testing. "We certified the Dialogic boards and they will be available in our Media Server release. This enables our customers who are deploying the current generation of servers to enjoy the full benefit of the Intervoice solution on PCI Express, thanks to the engineering expertise at Dialogic."
The Intervoice certification program demonstrates that the new PCI Express versions of the Dialogic DMVB boards deliver full backwards compatibility on the new server bus architecture, and can be adopted into existing applications and systems with little or no change to current applications.
"Intervoice's products are cutting-edge," remarked Jim Machi, Vice President of Marketing at Dialogic. "We were delighted that our boards were certified by the Intervoice team as PCI Express products will be an important part of the Intervoice solution set going forward."
Dialogic is a premier sponsor of Intervoice "Interactions 2007" and on March 28, Machi will speak on "Open Systems and Innovation," and discuss how the network and services are evolving with IMS and how to build wisely for the future as open systems continue to fuel innovation.
