Press Release Summary = www.VeniVidiWiki.eu is a collaborative website, used to
locate and describe remarquable places, activities and events (Points Of Interest),
with videos and links.

Press Release Body = Useful to find ideas and information about destinations,
outdoor activities, cultural events, world wide cities, natural sites .
New points of interest can be created quickly, no registration is required.

- 50 categories defined so far.
- A « test » category is available to create dummy places for test purpose.
- «Permalinks» can be used to save, blog or mail any map+video selection.
- Accepted video sources are : Turnhere, YouTube, Dailymotion , Google Video

The positioning tools are various and easy to use :
- drag and drop the pointer over the map or the map under the marker
- directly enter postal address or latitude and longitude
- double click on the location
- use the overview map control ...

VeniVidiWiki.eu takes advantage of the new web2 technologies :
- collaborative mode to enlarge the POI data base (wiki)
- asynchroneous data provided without any page reload (Ajax)
- integration of the efficient new flash video format (flv)
- usage of the Google Maps programmable interface (API, mashup)
- automatic integration of video content from various providers
