Press Release Body = Online Small Business Expert Sarah Spencer has partnered with the Vermont Women's Business Center to help start-up entrepreneurs learn the basics of creating a website on a budget. Spencer will teach a live 3-hour class devoted to building a simple website using Midphase hosting and RV Sitebuilder templates on April 26 at the Woodbury College Campus. "These websites do the job for the beginner who just needs a web presence and doesn't have the capital yet to invest in a web designer. " says Spencer. A former communications professional, Sarah Spencer worked as a broadcaster and marketing representative prior to creating Vermont Virtual Assistant, which provides online marketing help to small businesses and real estate agents. She is the author of 'Got Clicks?' an e-book that helps individuals learn the basics of the web. Spencer created 'Got Clicks?' after many entrepreneurs came to her for help in developing an online marketing presence without spending thousands of dollars. Throughout the course, students learn beginner level website development using a free WYSIWIG web page editor. Once the site is created, Spencer welcomes students to take future classes that focus on Search engine optimization Using online services such as PayPal to set up a free and easy shopping cart Creating online newsletters and blogs Using drip emails effectively And much more The fee for the class is $50 for the April 26th session from 6-9pm.
