basic spreadsheets in Excel, and can even learn most aspects of the program by using

The difficult facet of the program arises when a user tries to understand the more
complex formulas the program has to offer, or when users have problems trying to
figure out the easiest way to accomplish a task by utilizing the many keyboard
shortcuts in Microsoft Excel.

applications can be a bit confusing for both newer users and even more advanced
users. Because of this, we have compiled a great list of Microsoft Excel shortcuts,
tips and tricks to help you along the way. These quick keyboard shortcuts and tricks
are not as in-depth as the Microsoft Excel tutorial, but they are presented below in
an easy-to-understand format.

Named Range List
Here's a great Microsoft Excel tip that you may not have known. To obtain a list of
all Named Ranges and where they refer, select any blank cell (make sure you have no
data underneath or 1 column over) and go to Insert > Name > Paste then Paste List.

Nested Formulas
To help write nested formulas (more than 1 formula in a single cell) use the \"Paste
Function\" i.e. Insert > Function or Shift+F3. Select the function that you need,
enter the reference, number or text then select the drop arrow to the left of the
formula bar to add more formulas. Doing it this way ensures all your parentheses are
in the correct places.

To troubleshoot complex formulas, select the cell containing it and then click the
