For over 30 years, hundreds of selfless individuals have willingly immersed themselves in special projects to help others suffering in hopes that they can ease the pain. Once such notable group are the volunteers with the independent international medical humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). This is an organization that delivers emergency aid to people worldwide who have been affected by armed conflict, epidemics, famine, natural or man-made disasters, or who have no health care.
"The Doctors Without Borders organization is a shining example of what can happen when professionals and other individuals willingly make their skills, services and monies available to those less fortunate," said Jeanne Fuller of ForAccess.com.
