Press Release Summary: Mama Mia Showroom opens in Atlanta for the Childrens Market,
October 13-16, 2007 and partners with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to
\"Write for the Cure\".
Press Release Body: Atlanta, GA September 22, 2007 -- What comes to mind when you hear the words Mama Mia? Do you picture lovable Uncle Tony exclaiming his delight? Or is it the song from the fun and full of life musical?
Either way, Mama Mia generates a feeling of \"joie de vivre\", which is exactly the atmosphere we are creating for our new Childrens\' Showroom at AmericasMart in Atlanta.
It is our commitment to make the buying experience one that is fun, relaxing and enjoyable. We have gathered an eclectic mix of manufacturers, both well-known companies and rare gems that we have uncovered by endless searches, with all providing upscale products suitable for the finest and most prestigious baby boutiques.
Mama Mia is the brainchild of Leslie Head, cofounder of TeePeeForMe, and Suzanne Longacre, founder of Suzibella. After trying various different methods of marketing their own products, it was evident that there was a better way.
The song says \"Mama Mia-here we go again\"-and although we are doing this again, it is definitely unlike any other endeavor. Until now, showroom marketing was typically done on a regional basis, with independent, non-related showrooms in each major city. Mama Mia will be the first marketing entity to create a \"national showroom\" by opening the first location in Atlanta, and once perfected, duplicate the concept in all the major markets. After Atlanta, we will target LA, Chicago, New York and Dallas, and mix in temporary shows such as ABC in Las Vegas and the New York International Gift Fair.
\"By doing this, regardless of which city buyers decide to visit, they will be able to patronize a familiar showroom, says Leslie Head, Mama Mia Partner. The familiarity will make traveling to another market less stressful, since customers will be comfortable in our showroom, whether in Dallas, LA or Chicago.\"
Most importantly, though, to Suzanne and Leslie is the excitement and challenge of being able to take their experience and vision and create a showroom that is just a fun place to visit. \"Buyers have to fit so much into a short trip to market and it often gets overwhelming. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is relaxing but exciting. We want to be at the top of the Buyers\' lists of \"must-see\" showrooms in every market by providing an experience that is interesting because of our fabulous product selection, relaxing because of our casually upscale atmosphere, and enjoyable because of our friendly, knowledgeable and low-pressure sales staff.\"
To celebrate the commencement of their dream, the Mama Mia Founders felt it was important to give back. \"We have been so fortunate, says Longacre, \"and it\'s important to us to keep things in perspective. This is why we have decided to partner with the Susan G. Komen Foundation during October\'s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each company in the showroom has graciously donated their products to be part of a silent auction to be held during the Pink Tie Ball, which coincidentally falls on the same day as our showroom grand opening. In addition, 5% of all orders written during the October Children\'s Market in Atlanta will be donated on the customer\'s behalf. So please come visit us and Write for the Cure!!\"
