Premier India Football Academy (PIFA) today announced the dates for the fourth PIFA International camp to be held in India by European coaches.
Special camp for girls from 29 October to 1 November at the Unison World School, Dehra Dun.
From 3 November to 6 November at the Karnatak Sports Center, Cross Maidan, Mumbai is open to boys & girls.
From 7 November to 10 November at St Andrews, Bandra, Mumbai is open to boys & girls.
Highly experienced UEFA licensed coach's from England will be flown down to conduct football training. The coaches have been associated with the Bobby Charlton Soccer & Sports Academy, Everton FC Youth Academy and have specialized in training children 8-16 years of age.
For the first time PIFA will organize an all girls camp in Dehra Dun to help develop the game for Women's football in India.
The other two camps are open to boys & girls of any caliber, 10-16 years of age and will cost about £100 / INR 8,500. Each camp is of four days. Each day will focus on one of the four basic elements of Football training. Shooting, Dribbling, Passing & Control. Each skill will culminate in a skills contest. Also a fitness test as well as psychology test will be conducted to make the children aware & on how they can help themselves. PIFA guarantees improvement.
PIFA's efforts in India have been recognized by Asian Football Confederacy (AFC) Deputy General Secretary - Dato Paul Mony Samuel, letter to PIFA.

Nike will be the official football for the camp and the Skills contest winners get a gift set from Nike as well as get once a week free training from PIFA at any one of the PIFA centers for the year. Talented players will be get a trial for the PIFA teams.
In 2006, one hundred and seventy children benefited from the three camps held in Mumbai & Pune. The Mumbai camps sold within 15 days of launch. Over 500 children have attended the ten PIFA international camps held in the past 3 years.
All the participants have performed well and helped their school to win matches. Some of the participants have been selected to play for Mahindra United U-15 team.
Like last year, the seats are limited to 60 children per camp. Seats will be allocated on first come basis. So hurry and book your place immediately. Make it your goal to be there.
