Sortprice Sees Halloween Search for Sexy Costumes Soar

Adult costume searches are on the rise, soaring past searches for children's costumes by approximately 20%. A slew of "sexy" costumes made the top of the list, with "sexy prisoner" being one of the most searched. Also, an average 5% more is being spent on costumes this year than last.
"The sexy prisoner search as a top hit was a surprise initially," said Doron Simovitch, president and CEO of Sortprice. "However, when you consider the media focus on celebrities and how many of these have unfortunately topped headlines this year after run-ins with the law, resulting in prison time for some, it begins to make more sense."
A recent major increase in online costume retailers has tripled the costume category from what it was in 2006. With all of this choice, Sortprice features such as "shop, drag and drop" make it easier for shoppers to compare and share costumes found with friends. Sortprice also partners closely with the retailers whose products are listed.
