Press Release Body: As recently as five years ago the children's custom bed market was barely simmering - but no more. The demand for these products has been increasing dramatically. Luxury theme beds and multi-function furniture sets for children are becoming very hot, particularly with the recent celebrity baby boom. Sweet Dream Beds has been keeping up with this influx of interest by introducing several new furniture designs inspired by their customers' ideas and needs just in time for the holiday season.
In addition to continually adding new designs to their line, Sweet Dream Theme Beds & Children's Interiors is expanding their business by providing each client with stellar customer service and exemplary personal attention. \"The customer really gets involved with the process. In fact, the last few beds we've designed were almost totally customer inspired,\" says Joann Means, business manager of Sweet Dream Theme Beds and Children's Interiors. In the three short years they have been in business, the company has been getting ever more frequent requests, from all parts of the country, for truly custom beds that are never standard, often fanciful and always extreme in imagination, durability and design. \"We really mean what we say - if our customers can dream it, we can build it,\" added Joann, \"We've introduced several new designs into our line this year and all of them were 'dreamed' up by our customers! One customer even used a miniature dollhouse as her inspiration for an English Tutor Cottage theme bed set for her daughter!\" While many companies cannot, (or will not), customize to the point that they are able to turn a photograph of a dollhouse into a glorious sleep suite, Sweet Dream will, and does - and they do it exceptionally well. Johnny Means, Joann's husband and the creative force of this husband and wife team, is part fine artist, part master carpenter and part magician. So far, he has not let down any customer's expectations, and, in fact, has exceeded them. One of his proudest \"Dream\" moments, however, came when he was asked to build a custom special needs bed this year for a young disabled boy. He was able to accomplish the task with ingenuity, creativity and style. \"That bed was truly a godsend to the young boy's mother; her daily care of him has been eased with the addition of it in their home,\" stated John Means, \"I was really happy to help this family and build what they needed to make their lives easier.\"
\"Each new bed is a great adventure,\" Joann added happily. Even though the creation of custom built furniture takes a considerable amount of talent, time and expertise, the pair embraces each custom bed request as a challenge and truly enjoys the entire process. And the love of their work clearly shows - both in the end result and in their growing list of satisfied customers. Donna and Craig Suro, who commissioned the English Tutor Cottage theme bed for their daughter said this about their experience with Sweet Dream: \"They [John and Joann were so great to work with and JoAnne was very patient with my indecisiveness .\" \"They provided so many little extras - like Cherry wood for the detail. The bed is constructed so well and you can tell Johnny loves what he does by the pride he takes in his finished work. The bed exceeded my expectations. In today's world that is rare.\"
Johnny and Joann often work together, sitting down at the kitchen table and bouncing around ideas on how to bring a customer's dreams to fruition. Joann is the main client liaison and is able to pull information from, and work with, each individual customer so that they really get what they want and need. This was most assuredly the case with one recent client whose Manhattan apartment did not offer her daughter much in the way of convenient play opportunities. Together, Joann and her client, Karen Brush, PhD., came up with the stunning 2007 Woodland Princess Castle bed that was exactly what the doctor ordered. Karen was so thrilled with the entire experience that she couldn't wait to show the end result to friends and neighbors. As to her experience with Sweet Dream? She was quoted as saying, \"The pictures don't do my bed justice - it has a climbing wall and a built-in tunnel under the waterfall that leads into the lower bunk. The bed is so well constructed and the materials are of such high quality, that a heavy adult can climb on it without fear. The paint finish is simply magical. JoAnne and I discussed the design many times by phone and email and I sent her clippings and ideas for almost a month. I was involved with the process from start to finish and was able to tell them exactly what I needed and wanted. Joann was very patient! The end result was exactly what I had been thinking of, a remarkable feat given that I was unable to actually draw or paint my ideas myself.\" Joann was equally delighted with the outcome of this bed, stating, \"This bed has become a true 'indoor playground' for Dr. Brush's daughter. The extra benefit is that it also provides an enchanting sleep space that she feels cozy and comfortable in.\"
Johnny and Joann Means are quickly becoming the fairy godparent's of children's bed sets. Some of their beds have already become standard classics, such as their Princess and Prince Castle Beds. The castle beds are often distinctively customized at the request of the client by adding special add-ons or stunning personalized paint finishes. The 2007 introductions, such as the Surfs-Up Playhouse loft Bed, the Girls Woodland Princess Castle, the English Tudor Cottage, the Victorian Manor and the Souring Tree House theme bed were specially commissioned by clients to be as unique and one-of-a-kind as their child. The year 2008 will see them introducing more new designs such as a firetruck bed, pirate ship bed, princess coach bed and several indoor commercial playhouse structures. As the market for lux children's furniture grows and expands, it becomes increasingly more difficult for small businesses to stand-out and keep pace. Sweet Dream Theme Beds & Childrens' Interiors is able to do so by adding new introductions each year and inviting customers to fully partake in the process. They truly are living up to their company motto - If You Can Dream It, We Can Create It!
