Press Release Summary: Wayne-Based LTC Financial Partners Offers Newsletter & Online Help for Living Longer, Stronger
Press Release Body: Wayne, Pennsylvania , January 11, 2008- As Americans increase their life spans, many eyeing 100-plus, the odds of needing long term care increase. One solution is long term care insurance to pay the care bills. "A better solution," says Shela Anmuth, Wayne-based Partner of LTC Financial Partners (LTCFP), "is the insurance plus health habits to keep yourself on your feet as long as possible."
To contribute to those good habits, LTCFP, the nation's most experienced long term care insurance brokerage, is offering two free assists. One is a quarterly newsletter with prevention tips; the second is access to Living Longer, a new online group that will share videos and forum posts on healthy aging. The group is hosted by SuperLife World Service, a social network that promotes physical, mental, and environmental betterment.
A free subscription to the newsletter, called Caring is Sharing, may be requested from Anmuth at 610-640-4243 610-999-3390, or www.ltcfp.us/shelaanmuth . Free access to Living Longer is available at www.superlife.ws/group/livinglonger.
"Developing long-life health habits is like driving safely," says Anmuth. "You definitely need auto insurance just in case. But you also want to avoid accidents." The same logic applies to the risks of living longer, she asserts. "You need LTC insurance just in case. But you also want to do the things that keep you healthy, mentally fit, happy, and contributing for most of your days."
According to the latest census estimates, there are now more than 60,000 U.S. centenarians, up 63 percent since 1990, with a projected 1,000,000 by 2030 and more than 4,000,000 by 2050. Morbidity, existing in a state of illness, looms with longer life spans. \"But it doesn\'t have to happen for excessive periods, not for everybody,\" says Anmuth . "If we're going to live longer, let's live stronger."
Shela Anmuth grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she attended the University of Ill., majoring in art. She started her career in 1989 with the long term care division of American Express (later to be purchased by G.E., and now known as Genworth). During her time with the company, she consistently distinguished herself in the top 10% of producers in the country, often placing in the President\'s Club. In 1997, Shela became an independent broker. She wanted to be able to offer her clients access to a wide range of companies and products, so that they could make the best choice of which product and plan would meet their individual needs. She is now associated with LTC Financial Partners, and for the last three years (2003, 2004 and 2005), was recognized as one of the top 100 LTC producers in the country at the National Long Term Care Summit. Shela continually strives to offer her clients the highest quality service and information, with a particular emphasis on showing them how they can receive care in the comfort of their own home, if that is their preference. With the information she provides them, they can make a sound financial decision on how to best address their last and biggest financial risk, the risk of eventually needing long term care. Shela lives in Wayne, Pa. with her husband Larry who also works in the long term care insurance industry.
