today announced it has begun awarding grants to schools in lower income communities
dedicated to providing technology enrichment learning opportunities for these
children. Importantly, this initiative is meant to help foster broader understanding
within school age children of key technologies related to computers and the
Internet.

This new initiative is consistent with Comodo\'s dedication to empowering consumers
with tools and technology to enable them to fully reap the benefits that the

The first school to be granted an award was the Eighteenth Avenue Elementary School
of Science and Technology in Newark, NJ. This grant supports a special needs program
among second and third graders to help accelerate their use of computers for
learning. Comodo is planning on expanding this program to include technology,
hardware and other potential services related to authentication to reduce children\'s
exposure to online predators.

Grant recipients will be chosen by the Comodo Grant Review Committee, which is
comprised of Comodo employees with diverse backgrounds and range from individual
