Press Release Body: With what initially looked like a one-sided match, this match gave great thrill to all viewers and players. The match ended with the Hyderabad Heroes winning over the Kolkata Tigers by four wickets. The partnership of 73 runs between Maher and Binny is credited to be the match winning factor by the team.
Tarafdar and Hayward 's bowling attack left the team which was chasing a target of 166 runs making a very bad start and the score was 28 runs for three wickets. Recuperating from this shock, it was Maher and Kemp who had a small partnership which got some stability into the team. The situation got really bad when again, Tarafdar got Kemp off his feet and he lost his wicket. The team then started to look miserable as the score then was 95 for the loss of 6 wickets.
There were not many hopes left for the team when Stuart Binny stepped on the field. However the much required runs were brought in by Binny who scored 44 runs off just 19 balls and Maher with his 65 runs led the team to victory.
If we talk about consistency, Kolkata Tigers showed it better than the Heroes. The players who got the chance to bat did not go without any contribution. Klusner scored 73 runs and other players supported his game well and contributed some runs as well. However all that went in vain with the Tigers side losing the match. Kemp and Harris managed to get two wickets each. However the Tigers bowlers left no trials in getting the Heroes out of the field. Full force was put in by them but in the end, Binny came and slashed down all their hopes by leading his team to the win.
