Superstars into semi-finals, Arnold and Shabbir shine in win!

Press Release Summary: The batting line up of the Superstars spearheaded by Harvey and Vignesh set out to make the best of the opportunity to bat first which they got after winning the toss.
Press Release Body: After speculation and performance, it is now sure that the Chennai Superstars team will play in the semi-final matches of the Edelweiss Challenge of the Indian Cricket League. The team inflicted a 22 run defeat to the team of the Ahmedabad Rockets and has now made their way into the matches.
The batting line up of the Superstars spearheaded by Harvey and Vignesh set out to make the best of the opportunity to bat first which they got after winning the toss. The openers however could not make it that big in the match. A run out from Sanjeev and a good delivery from Sriram had the two players out, Harvey left on 5 and Vignesh on 11. Arnold came in at the third spot and had a small partnership with Law after which Law left and Badani came in. these two players had another of the few above 100 stands of partnerships that have been seen in the series so far. This time it was 112 runs partnership. Both the players lost their wickets but only in thelast over after taking due advantage and scoring runs. 69 runs were made by Arnold and 45 by Badani.
The opener of the Ahmedabad Rockets, Hinds was able to do some justice to his innings and made 21 runs. Martyn and Goodwin left after playing just 7 balls each. Aziz made 24 runs for his team with company from Sriram who could manage 30. Jain and Streak could add 20 and 10 runs respectively and the team fell short of 22 runs of the score of the other team.
Arnold and Shabbir were awarded the Man of the Match. Shabbir for his 4 wicket haul and Arnold for his 62 runs deserved the award equally.
