Press Release Body: TITLE: \"To my Beloved Eve... Letters from Adam to his Wife\"
SUMMARY: In a series of letters written by Adam to Eve, author Francis Testa explores the dynamic of love and freedom between the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. With a lot of imagination, the book starts with Adam describing to Eve the morning he awoke to life on a newly created world. He is alone and innocent, not knowing what to expect, no idea how he or it got there or where it is all headed. All he knows is that it is great to be alive! As the letters progress, Adam opens his heart about the joy and love he feels for Eve, his gratitude to God for life, and his deep regret at disobeying God and eating the forbidden fruit. He knows Paradise much better now that he has lost it, seeing with hindsight the many wonders God prepared for him. Adam humbly and honestly concludes that Eve was the pinnacle of creation. She is the mother of all the living, the first woman, the one who was given to him to care for and the one for whom all things were prepared, including Adam, himself. With the murder of Abel, Adam is crushed by a sense of helplessness in the face of Eve\'s grief. In a final letter written at her graveside, though grief consumes him, Adam reveals his prayer and dream of finding Eve again in Paradise. This brings to a close a fascinating and compelling work.
