Press Release Body:
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, May 22, 2008 -- Statistics have shown that women who stay home and clean their homes with toxic cleaners have a 54% greater risk of getting cancer than those women who work and hire someone to clean their homes. The 15-year study concluded that this was a direct result of the increased exposure to toxic chemicals, many of which are found in common household products. \"I know, because I am a cancer statistic,\" says Nilsson. \"I used those toxic chemicals to clean my home for years and. I did get cancer\".
Shaklee Corporation was the first company ever to be certified carbon neutral, which means they operate with a net zero impact on the earth. All their products are designed to be earth-friendly and safe for humans with no product recall in 52 years. Shaklee has invested over $250-million in clinical testing, research, and development. \"Using Shaklee products is like a breath of fresh air, especially when I clean my shower\", says Nilsson.
For your children\'s sake, use Shaklee cleaning products. There are no toxic ingredients in them. Between 1980 and 1994, asthma rates in children under 5 went up by 106%. As you spray common household cleaners in your home, you and your children breathe in the chemicals. \"Its like sitting on a toxic bomb just waiting until your family\'s health is compromised,\" says Nilsson.
Kathy Nilsson is a cancer survivor who is passionate about ridding our homes of toxic household cleaners. Not only will our health be better, but last year people who used Shaklee products saved our landfills enough plastic bottles that if you placed them end to end, they would circle the earth eight times.
