Press Release Body: Watertown, MA, June 18, 2008 -- Snowbound Software, a leading provider of powerful, flexible and reliable document viewing technology, today announced that Plus Technologies®, a leading print management solutions provider, has chosen to integrate the document conversion functions of Snowbound's RasterMaster® imaging and conversion SDK into OM Plus®, its advanced print management solution set.
With the integration of document conversion functions in Snowbound's RasterMaster SDK, server-based applications can automatically convert non-print friendly streams into a print-friendly format on the fly. Plus Technologies' OM Plus print management solution features an extensive tool set that provides an advanced output management system to ensure successful printing for enterprises that print high volumes of important documents, such as invoices or labels. OM Plus automates printing functions for applications enabling critical business processes to be completed on time.
By integrating Snowbound's RasterMaster technology, OM Plus can now support file conversion to and from a wide range of document formats including MO:DCA, AFP, TIFF and many more in Windows, Java and UNIX/Linux environments. Vedder, vice president of marketing for Plus Technologies said, "Enterprise print management people will tell you that in the perfect situation the format in which a document is produced matches the format supported by the chosen destination in all circumstances. However, this perfect situation rarely happens. By integrating Snowbound's RasterMaster Library, OM Plus can now transform virtually any print stream image format, across Windows, Java and UNIX platforms to meet the advanced document delivery needs of any organization."
Simon Wieczner, CEO of Snowbound Software, said, "We are excited that Plus Technologies has integrated our conversion technology into print environments and welcome them to our OEM customer-base.
