Research through out the years shows that when children are introduced to reading as early as their first year, that it lays the ground work for their interest in books and reading to grow as they grow older. TheBestMoms.com supports early reading as both a form of education and personal bonding that is extremely important in the early years. Scholastic is a name parents know and trust as a leader in education and now parents will know Little Scholastic as the new leader in early education.
Samantha Olea, founder of TheBestMoms.com, admits to being an avid reader through out her life and attributes it to her being introduced to books at a very early age. \"When I was young, I remember visiting the school library week after week waiting for my favorite book, A Light in the Attic by the Late and Great Shel Silverstein, to become available. I will never forget the rush I got the day that the librarian pulled me aside to tell me that she had something for me, and there it was! I could not wait to go home and read each and every page, and then read them all again. I would like for all kids to know that feeling-to not see reading as a chore. There were words before LOL, ROFL, BRB and OMG, you know...\"
\"We\'ve been a Scholastic family for years.\", said Samantha Olea. \"I personally appreciate the level of quality and detail that Scholastic as a whole puts into their books. Beyond that, Scholastic books are offered through our schools through out the year in bi-monthly class room orders and book fairs-both which help support our schools and help bring more books into the school. As a parent, you\'ve got to love that!\" When asked specifically about the current Little Scholastic Goodie Bag Giveaway, Mrs. Olea\'s response was, \"I love it! Of course I was honored to have the opportunity to both partner with such a great company that shared my own values, and to giveaway an awesome prize to five families. I was lucky enough to review the books myself with my children who are both over the baby to 3 year old range, and they still loved the books. Each book was high quality, brightly colored and engaging from fuzzy animals that the kids could touch to my personal favorite, Peek-a-Zoo that is overflowing with textures and surprises.\"

About TheBestMoms.com:
TheBestMoms.com was founded in 2002 by Samantha Olea, a married mother of two. Mrs. Olea founded TheBestMoms.com out of a need that she had to get advice from other moms online about parenting and working from home. Samantha did not have women in her social circle that she could learn from, so she created a virtual social circle that filled that need. Over the past 6 years, TheBestMoms.com has seen many moms through the ups and downs of motherhood, potty training and pot roast, with out judgment and with out stigma. TheBestMoms.com was founded on the belief repeated in their slogan...\"We are the very best moms our children could ever have.\"(tm)
