About Gary Orentlicher, D.M.D Dr. Gary Orentlicher graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. Upon graduating dental school, he was honored with six major awards. During his residency, he was the recipient of the prestigious Merck, Sharpe & Dohme Resident Research Award.
