Press Release Summary: Subscriptions for Soldiers received an immediate overwhelming
response from service members.

Press Release Body: Participating service members are already giving Subscriptions
for Soldiers enthusiastic feedback via e-mail.

"I just want to say thank you for taking your time and effort in having a service
for sailors and all our other branches to have magazines to keep our minds occupied
about other stuff, rather than our minds being concentrated on the stress and
everyday life of being in the military, and especially missing our families," said
U.S. Navy seaman Clayton M.

Service members often settle for out-of-date magazines so the chance to receive a
year's worth of current magazines is a sought-after luxury. Presently, the program
has a database of 9,000-and growing-service member subscription requests waiting to
be fulfilled.

For active duty service members, something as simple as receiving a monthly magazine
makes a difference by boosting morale in stressful times throughout the year.

"More and more often we lose sight of what we're fighting for when we're deployed.
The daily grind we go through day in and day out is extremely dangerous and arduous,
and it's so easy to fall into a depressed state when you're thousands of miles from
everyone you love," said 2nd Lt. Matt, of the U.S. Air Force. "Programs like [this]
allow soldiers/airmen/Marines/sailors the chance to forget about the possibility of
losing your life and those around you for a few minutes a day. And those fleeting,
precious minutes are a welcome break from the rigors of war."

At the heart of Subscriptions for Soldiers is an effort to connect service members,
those they serve and the life we all cherish. This inexpensive but meaningful
gift-giving service will continue indefinitely.

The program, presented by Magazines.com, makes donating magazine subscriptions
affordable-just $10 per subscription donation-and easy. Donors visit
www.subs4soldiers.com and can donate to a service member they know or be paired
anonymously with a service member through the database of requests. Meanwhile,
service members go to a separate website at www.subs4servicemembers.com and request
up to three favorite magazines from 30 magazine titles like Guns & Ammo, Muscle &
Fitness, Shape and Star at no cost to them.

"We believe there are many Americans, regardless of how they feel about the politics
of war, who really want to let our troops, all over the world, know how much we
appreciate them," said Jay Clarke, CEO of Magazines.com. "At the same time there are
soldiers far away from their families who long for a little taste of home."
For service members deployed overseas, receiving a favorite magazine is like getting
a little piece of home every month.
