Press Release Summary: Reduce your lease costs when you lease commercial spaces in Manhattan with governmental programs.
Press Release Body: In some ways, the events of September 11, 2001 have achieved their desired result. The commercial life of lower Manhattan has decreased significantly. Such being the case, the government has risen magnificently to the occasion and offered a number of incentives to attract businesses to lease office or retail space in lower Manhattan. Incentives such as the World Trade Center Rent Reduction, or the Commercial Revitalization Program. Tax abatements, decreased taxes, reductions on your electrical costs. The list goes on. The World Trade Center Rent Reduction Program, for example, has been allocated a god $115 million, and saves the tenant anywhere from $3.80 to $5.00 per square foot. The Commercial Revitalization Program gives the tenants of the area included in the program a tax abatement. The Energy Cost Savings Program reduces electric and gas bills. Obviously, there are some prerequisites to be eligible for these programs. There is a minimum/maximum term of lease, the retail space must be located in a specific area, and for some, there must be a minimum amount of employees. To find out if you are eligible for any of these governmental programs, call Norman Bobrow at (212) 682-4280 or email admin@normanbobrow.com.
