Press Release Body: Kompressor/The More VEI Int\'l is announcing the production of a TV special that will preview a documentary that will, among other advanced concept developments, include the first initial tests for what appears to be the world\'s first functioning prototype for warp drive. The program, with the working title of \"Tomorrow\'s Tase\", will be hosted by a young couple and feature highlights of a longer documentary that will be hosted by actress Rhoda Cronebach in a Future Fantastic style presentation. Future Fantastic was a 1996 British TV series featuring Gillian Anderson that showed how science fiction ideas are influencing modern day technological developments and research. The program will exist in two versions - one online and another that will be syndicated to broadcast stations.
The working title is derived from the 70s phrase \"future shock\" invented by futurist Alvin Toffler and the title of his famous 1970 book. It means \"too much change in too short a period of time\". \"Tomorrow\'s Tase\" is not only a hipper derivative (tase meaning to shock with a taser and made famous by the phrase \"Don\'t tase me bro\'\") but the word \"tomorrow\" carries a greater immediacy than simply saying \"future\". The focus of the program is on radical technical developments that already exist or that could be here before the end of the first decade of the 21st century.
Based on startling presentations made by R&D engineer Marshall Barnes and University of Connecticut professor Ronald Mallett, PhD at the 2007 MarCon science fiction convention, that left audiences stunned by the technology revelations that they were presented with in a multimedia fashion, Tomorrow\'s Tase is bound to startle and amaze TV audiences this fall and prepare them for the eventual release of the full TV version of the documentary and its 2 hour DVD release. The program will feature appearances by notables from science and technology including Ronald Mallett, Fred Alan Wolf, and Larry Maurer. Aside from the warp drive, topics covered will include, invisibility, antigravity, teleportation, time travel, and mind technologies with the potential to revolutionize the entertainment industry beyond the expectations and predictions of current industry professionals.
