Press Release Body: The Independent Business Women’s Circle (IBWC) will present a seminar on holistic health and beauty for women in business on Tuesday, September 9th, from 12:30 -2:30 pm at the Atria Cutter Mill, 96 Cuttermill Road in Great Neck. Featured will be experts in the fields of holistic health counseling, image consulting, chemical-free cosmetology and fitness. They will be focusing on natural and affordable ways to look and feel radiant while effecting harmony and balance in your personal and professional life. “Holistic means nourishing ourselves on all levels of life (our whole life) - everything from our careers, relationships, exercise, eating habits and even spirituality. All of these play a key role in maintaining a vibrant, youthful life, full of inner and outer beauty,” says panelist George Karaisarides, board certified Holistic Health Counselor. Susan Sommers, image consultant, stylist and author who has appeared on Eyewitness News, The View, and CBS News and has been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, Allure, Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar will teach women how to feel fashionable and self-confident while creating a style that is uniquely their own. Michelle Taylor, licensed aesthetician and makeup artist for VITA Medspa in Roslyn will be doing live make-up demonstrations with natural, chemical-free cosmetics. And Tami Racaniello, fitness expert, personal trainer, Pilates and Yoga instructor will demonstrate how to integrate exercise into your daily routine, and show how to counteract common work-related issues such as neck, shoulder, wrist and arm pain. The seminar is open to all but reservations are necessary. Admission is $20 for non-IBWC members and includes a luncheon buffet.
