Press Release Body: The Senate Bill 1738 has highlighted the importance of online protection for children on a legislative level however; parents are being urged to ensure that their children are protected from online predators at home through installing internet filters such as Integard.
The threat of child exploitation via the internet is a growing concern for parents. To ensure that children are safe online, Integard Internet Filter has been developed to prevent children from disclosing personal information to strangers through online chat conversations. Integard has comprehensive features for protecting children online, is easy to install and customise and supports multiple users.
Integard has the ability to monitor chat conversations and other online behaviour, any conversations containing signs of depression, communication with online predator or other suspicious activities can be discreetly reported to parents via email.
Spokesperson for Integard, Mr Daniel Millerson said that the issue of child exploitation will continue if parents and guardians do not educate their children about ‘stranger danger’ online.
“We can no longer ignore the potential dangers online, parents need to take action by educating their children and installing appropriate software to protect their children from harm online,” Mr Millerson said.
Integard Internet Content Filter was developed in 2006 by the Australian company Race River. Integard is the most technologically advanced internet filter on the market providing online safety for children.
