Ian Rebello walked away from his six figure job just a few months ago in the
corporate world to pursue his dreams of owning his own business with long time

"I had owned businesses in the past, " recalled Dave Rodgers, "They just didn't have
the impact that I wanted to make on the environment and the community. I remember
sitting with Ian at my house staying up late for months drawing up the business
proposal on Green Junk Machine. We both made great money, but wanted more from life.
We wanted to be able to provide jobs and drive the economy rather than chase jobs
and worry about the economy not allowing us to do what we wanted."

The company charges anywhere from $79 for a single item to $427 for a full
truckload. Which they add, "Is 30% cheaper than our main competitors and offers
incredible customer service." All of their prices are based on volume. Green Junk
Machine focuses on recycling and reusing unwanted items. They say that nearly 60% of
people's unwanted junk is recycled, reused, or donated, and they say, " We
absolutely love hauling junk out of properties."

"It's the best feeling removing an old couch or an old piece of furniture, driving
down to the Goodwill along with other local charities and know the items will find a
new home where they will be appreciated. It really is true that one man's junk is
another man's treasure, and we really focus on staying true to that philosophy,"
says Ian.

"A lot of this stuff is good stuff, people are usually getting new furniture or a
new television and want to get rid of the old stuff. That's where we come in!"
