Press Release Summary: EDMONTON, CANADA - It all began as a dream years ago: a bike
trip from Canada along the western coast of the United States, through Central
America and finishing in Argentina. As the idea took hold, brothers Keenan and Jeff
Cook decided that an adventure wasn't enough, and wanted to incorporate their desire
to make a difference in the world.

Press Release Body: The Cooks approached HOPE International, a Canadian based
non-profit organization working on educational and technological solutions in
developing countries. They set a goal of raising $50,000 through their ambitious
trip, all of which will benefit the hurricane damaged San Jose de Ocoa province in
the Dominican Republic. Development projects in this region centre on implementing
soil conservation projects, and re-establishing agricultural and irrigation systems
to pre-hurricane levels. The overarching goal of HOPE International is to enable
local families to establish an income and begin to support themselves once again.

And so it happened that on September 1, 2008, the Cook brothers found themselves
loaded down with supplies, ready to make a difference and embark on their life's
greatest adventure. Through their journey, Keenan and Jeff aspire to "highlight the
vast differences in wealth in our world, and raise money for an excellent cause
dedicated to helping those in the world less fortunate than us". They are thrilled
to be able to take a trip where they will be given the opportunity to truly make an
impact while seeing so much of our amazing planet from the seat of a bicycle.

As Keenan and Jeff make their way through California, they would be thrilled by any
opportunity to discuss their trip thus far as well as their goals for the immediate
future.
