Under the Radar : Mobility is a one-day conference uncovering 32 vetted, tested-driven startups that have launched within the year in categories such as Marketing and advertising, location-based services, gaming, social networking, enabling technologies, and iPhone and other apps. TORO was chosen, as it is the first company in Asia fully dedicated to developing mobile software for payment and non-payment NFC services. Akami suiteTM, TORO's "NFC platform" is a software solution that allows Banks, MNOs and Merchants to implement their own business case, and it also allows proposing mobile marketing services. TORO's value proposal is that our Mobile Software is at the same time a platform to propose NFC killer-apps, and a platform to propose marketing services.
